This week

Greetings. This week, I haven't go anywhere special. Mostly, I play games and draw at my apartment. At school, nothing particularly interesting happens, if I remember correctly. So... Let's go back to last Saturday, my best friend's birthday. Her name is Yumiko, she's not Japanese but she looks like Japanese and can speak the language.

At Friday night, my friends in the same apartment and I commenced our "Surprise at Midnight" plan. The plan is to surprise her at exactly 12 a.m. We went to sleep early, after a while I went out of the room to tell the rest that Yumiko had slept.

We barged in suddenly and threw some balloons at her face. We didn't see any response. Looking closer, she laughed too much that no voice come out at all.

Yumiko complained that she's still sleepy but, we forced her to wake up and eat at least a slice of cake. We end the surprise with a picture.

The next day, I promised to have lunch with her at VeganBurg. Yumiko is vegetarian (impressive to have such determination at such age, right?) The dishes at that restaurant are really good and healthy.

After that, I left her finishing her dish and go to EOY held at Marina Barrage, a cosplay event held every year in Singapore. There are also merchandise booths and I planned to buy some presents for Yumiko's 17th Birthday. I searched around the place for the characters that she like while taking pictures of the cosplayers.

I went out with my classmates to the event. They are Na and Sherry. Sherry is a cosplayer, she decided to cosplay as Makise Kurisu from Steins;Gate.

I also have friends who work at the booths. After I spent the day searching for the right present for Yumiko, I regrouped with Na and Sherry. We walked around for a while until the event finished. We took a few pictures at the top of the building. There are a lot of tourists with their family, the children played around, some were playing kites and the others just ran around. I parted with them and had dinner with my friends who had finished working although, I just order a drink since there are no soup menu. (I had sore throat. Why do I still eat burger? Well, I made a promise and it's her 17th Birthday).

That Saturday was eventful. I went home and gave the presents to Yumiko. She's delighted when she saw the presents which consists of a pokeball, Hakuryuu Ren's figurine and Hakuryuu Ren's poster. It was tiring but also fun.
